Meet Amanda and the Team

Founder and Managing Director Amanda Alexander

amanda alexanderEducated to Masters Degree level, Amanda was previously an accredited Project Manager with demonstrable experience in project planning and control, subcontractor management and risk management. Working for multi-national blue chip IT companies, she has worked in UK, Europe and Africa setting up and successfully delivering IT systems integration and change management projects and delivering training to Project Management professionals.

Amanda’s career change from Project Manager to Coach came about from her own “bad” experience at work when she became pregnant. Amanda founded www.coachingmums.com shortly after leaving corporate life and has devoted the past five years to helping bright, talented working mothers to achieve balance, fulfillment and success.

Amanda’s experience of working with hundreds of professional working mums who have “given up” on promising careers inspired her to set up Corporate Mothers. Her personal mission is to facilitate ways that both the organisation and the employee can cut a path through the combined challenges of running profitable businesses and raising children.

Amanda is a highly experienced coach and inspirational workshop leader with experience across a wide range of organisations. She is one of only a handful of professionally qualified coaches in the UK holding ACC accreditation from the ICF (International Coach Federation).

Her prime areas of executive coaching expertise include career progression, leadership, work life balance, return to work and time management. She regularly delivers high profile workshops and seminars and has a high media presence as an expert on working mothers’ issues, mothers in business and work life balance.

Amanda has worked with individuals and groups from a diverse range of organisations, including:
